Oola Finance Challenge

After working in finance for over 14 years I whole heartedly understand how personal this category can be for people.

Most of us have the same basic needs in life: Food, Shelter, Transport, Education. But how many of us really sit down and budget out our income and expenses religiously? And how strict are we to save for that epic vacation? Does it go on the credit card or PLC?

It is so easy to get caught up in the excitement of the moment where all of a sudden the want is rationalized into a need. I get it, trust me!

When I turned 19 many years ago, I decided to apply for a credit card....or 5. My thought process was that one of them would HAVE to approve me for something. Well they all did! Being fresh into the world of credit I had no idea how to manage them and I racked them ALL up. Granted we had many great nights out and some hefty bar bills but it all came to a halt and a frantic crawl out of the hole I had dug began.

It can also be very easy to be trapped in a land of Frugal. Save every penny earned and found but never having some fun with it.

Finances can go all different directions and depending on what scale you land in you can be sure it is affecting one or more areas of your life that you could improve.

Today I challenge you to the following:

Challenge: Pay $77 extra toward a debt. Don’t have $77? Pay $7. If that’s not enough of a challenge for you, sell things you don’t use and pay $777 toward a debt. Build up a “healthy level of disgust” and once-and-for-all make progress toward the mound of debt that is taking over your life. No debt? Then give. Take the $7, $77, or $777 and give to a cause you love, simply because giving is Oola.

Don't forget to enter the daily draws here for a chance to win some pretty sweet Oola gear!

I am also accepting online bookings so you can take the first step to your Oola life! I am offering a free 30 minute one on one consultation.

I can not wait for you to update me on your challenge today!
